Historical action-adventure game for PC

Vivat Slovakia is a premium action game for PC coming from developer Team Vivat and is a third-person shooter adventure set in the backdrop of the country of Slovakia during the 1990s. Players will experience and witness one of the most tumultuous and transformative periods in the history of the nation.

Much like Grand Theft Auto V and Mafia Definitive Edition, Vivat Slovakia is set in a large open-world and virtual representation of Slovakia which equates to roughly 10 square kilometers of land for players to explore. The game is slated to be released on April 18, 2024.

Troubled times

Vivat Slovakia takes place in the city of Bratislava during the 1990s. It was during this time when it officially became the capital of the newly formed independent Slovak Republic. Democracy has been established, but the old ways of communism still linger. You play as an undercover agent for the special police as a taxi driver, roaming the city and surveilling persons of interest.

The main campaign has you take on over 20 missions based on real-life events in the city during the 90s. They will have you do all kinds of tasks, from watching targets in close proximity to engaging in shootouts with violent crime gangs. There are more than five weapons to use to defend yourself during hostile encounters as you roam and meet all kinds of characters.

Now, given your undercover profession, there are more than 30 period-accurate vehicles to drive around in ranging from daily beaters to more luxurious models. Now, as of this writing, there are still a few days before the game officially comes out. Also, Vivat Slovakia will be released as an Early Access title, which means it's not complete yet and development is still ongoing.

Compelling historical experience

To conclude, Vivat Slovakia combines thrilling gameplay with a narrative that is derived from actual history, which makes it even more compelling. It will be worth checking out especially if you're a resident of Slovakia and want to know more about the country's journey of independence and the hurdles it had to face and overcome during the transition. Keep this on your radar.

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
